David died on May 19th 2024, peacefully with his family, in the loving care of the Doctors and staff at Tullamore Regional Hospital. He was a native of Shannongrove, Banagher, Co. Galway and was predeceased by his beloved wife Moira, daughter Mary, daughter-in-law Angela, son-in-law Dessie, parents, Annie and Danny, brothers, Michael, Paddy and Dan, and sisters Esther and Kathleen.

David will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving sons and daughters, David, Michael, Stephen, Noel, Brendan, Nuala and Bernadette, his 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brother Willie, sisters Anna and Mary, daughters-in-law, Tina, Barbara, Dymphna and Veronica, sons-in-law, John and Noel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Grant David Eternal Rest and Peace

David will repose at his home on Tuesday (May 21st) from 3pm to 8pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning (May 22nd) to St. Mary's Church, Cloghan, where his Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am, and may be viewed on http://www.cloghanbanagherparish.ie.

Interment afterwards in Killourney Cemetery.
