The death has occurred of
DAVID J. O'BRIEN
O’Brien David J. (the Boss) Baneshane, Midleton on November 21st 2015 in his 96th year peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Elizabeth’s Ward, St. Finbarr’s Hospital, Cork. Beloved brother of the late Catherine (McCarthy, Cloyne). Deeply regretted by his loving wife Elsie (nee Mulcahy, Coolcap, Killeagh), sons and daughters Johnny, Josie (Beirne), Davy-Joe, Pat, Mary (McAlinden), Philip, Willie and Anthony, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Lying in repose at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton on Sunday from 630pm followed by removal at 8pm to St. Mary’s Church, Carrigtwohill. Requiem Mass on Monday at 2pm followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
