David Jordan

San Jose, California and formerly of Bog Road, Oranmore and Inchaboy, Gort, Co. Galway.

 

David, who hailed from Bog Road, Oranmore, and was formerly of Inchaboy, Gort, Co. Galway, passed away on January 6th, 2025. He is predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary and his brother PJ.

After bravely facing a long illness with remarkable humor, strength, and resilience, David peacefully entered eternal rest, in the arms of his loving wife Sally and in the compassionate care of Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California.

As a devoted and beloved husband, David will be fondly remembered and profoundly missed by his loving wife Sally, brother Johnny and his wife Teresa, sisters Mary, Eileen and Eileen's partner Richie, Patricia and her husband Martin, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews, and his colleagues and friends in Oranmore, Gort & San Jose.

 

David will be resting at Willow Glen Funeral Home, on January 15th from 4pm until 8pm for a private gathering of family and friends.

 

His celebration of life Mass will take place at St. Lucy Catholic Parish Church, 2350 Winchester Blvd Campbell, CA 95008, on Saturday January 18th at 12.30 pm, all are welcome.

Arrangements taking place in Ireland on Saturday the 16th of August:

 

Mass for David will take place in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore on Saturday the 16th of August at 12 noon.

An interment of David’s ashes will take place afterwards, in St Mary’s Cemetery, Oranmore.
