The death has occurred of
David Matthews
MATTHEWS (The Bungalow, Darrara, Clonakilty and formerly of 65 Glenwood, Dundalk, Co Louth): DAVID died too soon surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Mairead (nee Connolly), father Syl, Mother Aislinn, brothers Conor and Ciaran. Adored son in law of Jerry and Sheila, brother in law of Triona, John, Ger and Aine. Hugely mourned by nieces and nephews, goddaughters, aunts, uncles, cousins, close mates, work colleagues and many friends. David (Stick) bravely and courageously faced all challenges encountered in recent years.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2pm in Sacred Heart Church, Darrara. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
