David McArdle

David Mc Ardle, Dunmore, Avenue Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth. David passed away peacefully on 13th February 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of his family. Beloved husband of Dinah, cherished father of Paul and Ciara, much-loved grandad to Mark and Adam, and brother of Rita, Nuala and Deloras. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his heartbroken wife, son, daughter, adored grandchildren, daughter-in-law Karen, sisters, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

David will repose at his residence in Dunmore (A91 E3P2) on Sunday from 2pm until 6pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.45am to St. Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
