David passed away peacefully on 1st July 2024 in the tender care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel. David is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving parents Joe and Esther Owens, brother Brian Owens, sisters Claire Rough, Grace O' Callaghan and Carol Waters, sister-in-law Angela Owens, brothers-in-law David Rough and Dermot O' Callaghan, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

David will be reposing at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan on Thursday evening, 4th July, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday morning, 5th July, in St. Mary's Parish Church, Dungarvan. Cremation Service at 3 p.m. on Friday at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
