The death has occurred of
David (Rocky Stone) McCarthy
McCarthy (Cork) On 4th Sept 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, DAVID (Rocky Stone), Bantry Park Road Fairhill and late of Churchfield Place West. Dearly beloved husband of the late Ann (nee Hornibrook), much loved father of Deirdre, Sinead, Maria, Roisín, Aisling, Trevor and the late baby Stephen, devoted granda of Ciara, Chloe, Erin, Sophie, Conor, Emma and Bethany, and greatgranda. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Monday (8th September) from 12 noon, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary Prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (9th September) at 11.00am in The Church Of The Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St Finbarr’s Cemetery.
