David(Davey) Carney

Peacefully at home after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. Davey will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his devoted sons, David and Daryl and his cherished grandchildren Fionn, Robert and Lacey. A much loved brother to his sisters, Teresa, Liz, Berna, Martina, Geraldine, Margaret, Eileen, Breda, Patricia and Marie, his brothers Thomas, John, Michael, Joe and Paul. He leaves behind his nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Davey is now re-united with his beautiful daughter Debbie, his parents Patrick and Theresa and his sister Ann.

The jokes he told, the smile he wore,

His wicked humour is no more,

But up above in brighter light,

He gets to hold his Debbie tight.

Reposing in Tierney's Funeral Home, Roscrea(E53 NY70) on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence on Monday morning at 11.15am arriving in St.Cronan's Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Dungar cemetery.
