Killinarden, Dublin / Crumlin, Dublin

Deborah (Deb – Debbie) Higgins (nee Shiels) (Killinarden, Tallaght and formerly of Cashel Avenue, Crumlin) (The Bingo Queen) – March 5th, 2021 (peacefully) at home while surrounded by her loving family, predeceased by her father Luke, mother Margaret and brothers Michael, Patrick and Richard, beloved wife and best friend of Git (Christy) and much loved mother of Christopher, Darren, Lisa and Aaron. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all her loving family, brothers John, Pat, Noel, Paul, Luke and Philip, sisters Angela, Rita and Marie, son-in-law Kenneth, daughters-in-law Natasha, Jodie and Chloe, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces especially Jolene, grandchildren Tori, Dylan, Saoirse, Karleigh, Holly, Cameron, Halle, Rylee, Cooper, Kenneth and James, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

In line with recent Government and HSE advice regarding funeral gatherings, a private funeral (limited to 10 people) will take place on Thursday morning (March 11th) at 10am.

 

Debbie’s Funeral Cortège is expected to leave her residence at 9:30am on Thursday morning and will proceed to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Killinarden. Anyone wishing to stand along the route as a mark of respect are asked not to gather in groups and to adhere to all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of a face mask.

Those who cannot attend the funeral Mass due to current restrictions can leave a message for the family in the section below marked “Condolences”

 

Debbie’s husband and children would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely, Dr Gerry Moran, the staff of Killinarden Pharmacy and the Higgins, Long, Shiels and Mc Bride families for all their help and support during this difficult time.
