Declan (Benny) Bennett, Mellifont Park, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Navan and Stackallen, Co. Meath. 18th March 2026. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family following an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, son Raymond, granddaughter Erin, parents Joe and Marcella (Cellie). Beloved dad of Niall, Gary and Bob. Dec will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters-in-law Wendy, Angela, Sarahjane, grandchildren Ben, Tony, Joe, Ruby, Annabelle, and Sally-May, brother Michael, sisters Mary, Geraldine, Marcella and Valerie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends including former work colleagues of 47yrs in ESB Navan and Drogheda.

Reposing at his home on Thursday and Friday from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11.45am in The Augustinian Church, Shop Street, Drogheda and can be viewed live at https://www.churchservices.tv/droghedastaugustines with burial afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Drogheda.
