Declan passed away peacefully on Thursday 26th of December 2024, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Galway Hospice.

Pre-deceased by his partner Tracey Matthews and his Dad, Jim Carroll.

Declan will be sadly missed and always remembered by his daughters Rebecca and Aoife, his grandson Rían, his mother Una, his sister Barbara, brothers Austin and Rory, members of the extended family and his neighbours and friends.

Declan will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, Barrack Street, Loughrea (H62 DV76), on Saturday 28th December from 4pm to 5.30pm. Funeral cortége will arrive at St Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea on Sunday 29th at 11.40am for Mass at 12noon.

Burial afterwards in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
