BYRNE, DECLAN, known to all as DECKO, Spencer Dock, North Wall, Dublin 1, passed away 11th February, 2025, suddenly at home.

 

Pre-deceased by his dearest parents Mary and George Byrne, sister Marie (Doyle) and brother Josie Byrne

 

DECKO will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend Rita, children Rachel, Glenda, Declan, Gerard and Tammy, treasured grandchildren, sisters Kathleen, Patricia and Elizabeth, brothers James and Anthony, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, a large extended family, so many dear lifelong friends and all that knew him.

Decko will Repose at his Residence on Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday 19th February at 11am in St. Laurence O’Toole Church, Seville Place, Dublin 1, Followed by a Cremation Service to celebrate Decko’s life at Glasnevin Crematorium, Old Finglas Road, Dublin 11.
