Declan Devine

Devine (Churchfield Square, Cork); on June 11th 2025, peacefully, after an illness fought with tremendous courage & dignity and in the presence of his loving wife and family at home, Declan (The Child); Beloved husband of Aileen (née Barrett) and much-loved brother of Elaine, Caroline, Kevin, John, Marian and the late Michael, Eileen, Pauline and Gerard. Beloved son of the late Pauline and Patrick and brother-in-law of the late Jimmy O’Shea and Christy Butler.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews (especially Troy), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of special friends.

Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Thursday June 12th from 6.30pm to 7.30pm with prayers at 7.15pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 13th June at 12 noon in the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
