Declan McCarthy son of Vera and the late Fursey.

Marion House,Ennis Road, Gort, Co. Galway.            

Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of The Community Care Team and staff UHG. Deeply regretted by  his beloved  mother Vera, his sons Gavin and Lorcan (Brisbane) , and their mother Vivienne, daughter-in-law Claire ,Lorcan's partner Kylie ,adored granddaughter Mia and  brother  Angus (San Francisco), sisters Colette and Corinne (Galway), nieces and nephews Finn,Sally,Dylan,Linda,Shane,Cathal,Steven,Katie and Scott,sister in-law Shelia,brother in-law Pat, cousins, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

In accordance with Government directives, HSE guidelines, and in the interest of the public health a private family funeral mass will be held at St Colman’s Church, Gort on Saturday.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate Declan's life will be held at a later date.
