McEntee, Declan, 10th April, 2021 (Springfield) (unexpectedly), at home; beloved husband and best friend of Jacintha, for 50 happy and loving years, loving dad of Gary (living in New Zealand) and Lynda and adored grandad of Shauna, David, Charlie, Nicole and Cassie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, brothers, sister, daughter-in-law Cynthia, son-in-law Darren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.         

May he rest in peace.

In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held. Those who cannot attend the funeral Service due to the current restrictions please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book at the bottom of the page. Family flowers only please.

Declan’s funeral cortège will stop at the family home on Saturday at 11.50am on route to Newlands Cross Crematorium arriving for 12.20pm. Anyone wishing to gather outside the house as a mark of respect are asked not to gather in groups and to adhere to all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of face masks.
