Declan Mellotte

Declan Mellotte, 2nd September 2025, Derrylea, Westport Road, Castlebar, (Mellotte Motors), suddenly at his residence.

Predeceased by Kathleen (Klack) and Martin (Brady), his parents Stanley and Detta, brothers Richard (Claregalway) and Joseph (Hampstead Heath, UK).

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, sons Cíolán and Dáire, daughter Deirbhile and their mother Mary (Lally), brother David (London), sisters-in-law Teresa (Claregalway), Sue (Woodford, London) and Bernie (Walsh), brothers-in-law Patrick, Francis, John Joe, James and Danny, adored nieces and nephews Lisa, Orla, Richard and Mark, long term friend Noel Moran, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Declan will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar on Thursday (4th September) from 5.30 -7pm.

Funeral cortege will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Friday morning at 10.40 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m.

Declan will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
