The death has occurred of Declan Owen Mullarkey,Yonkers, New York & late of Dublin, Mayo & Sligo.

Declan, predeceased by his parents Cora & Thomas (former Superintendent, Ballina, and Belmullet Co. Mayo) and his sister Avril who died during infancy.

Declan is survived by his loving partner Kathy, his sister Majella Mullarkey, and his brothers, Justin Mullarkey, and Patrick (Santa Maria) Mullarkey. He leaves behind three nephews, one niece, numerous cousins, and his Aunt Beatrice. Declan's memory will be cherished by a wide circle of friends and family.

Declan’s Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, located on The Thatch Road, Whitehall, Dublin 9, D09 HX99, Ireland.

Declan's funeral mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/whitehall

Funeral cortege will depart on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from the Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Unit 3, Union Road Business Park, Collooney, Co. Sligo, F91 AKW5 at 1:30pm to arrive for burial at 2:00pm at St. Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney, Co. Sligo located at R290, Rathrippon, Co. Sligo, Ireland.
