Declan POWER

POWER, Declan - late of Roundwood and formerly of Greystones, Co. Wicklow, following a short illness that he bravely fought, Declan passed away peacefully, in the loving presence of his family and closest friends on Thursday 4th May 2023. Beloved husband of Sarah, loving and devoted father to Cianán, Ario & Éibhín.  Declan will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and children and his dear friends, Damon, Roisin, Liam, Martina, J.D. Annmarie, Paul, Linda, Caroline, Mike, Richard, Mark, Gerry, Kevin, Marina, and all his friends from Presentation College, Bray.

An intimate and private ceremony with a blessing of farewell, was held at Wicklow Hospice by his cousin Fr Brian and followed by cremation.

Our thanks to the many Consultants, Doctors & Nurses in St Vincents Hospital for their tremendous effort and care to help Declan battle his cancer.

A special word of thanks to everyone at Wicklow Hospice who helped in every way. We could not have asked for more love, compassion and understanding.

We will be forever grateful.
