Declan Scally

Declan Scally, Cloonleenaun, Annaghdown, Co. Galway, 29th September 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Mary and his adored sons Christopher (Dublin), Sean (California) and Kieran (California), their partners Lisa and Min, sisters Betty Sweeney (Ballyhale) and Yvonne (Leeds), brothers Padraig (Annaghdown & USA) and Aidan (Carrowbeg), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends and work colleagues at UHG. Declan is pre-deceased most recently by his mother Mary, his father Kitt and his sister Cora Nolan.

Reposing at his home in Annaghdown (H91W8W5) on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Annaghdown (H91YE39) for requiem Mass at 11am.

Private cremation to follow at Shannon Crematorium. Mass can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/annaghdown. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory of Declan to Oesophageal Cancer Research or a charity of your choice. House Private on Wednesday morning please.
