SEXTON, Declan, March 2nd, 2026, The Paddocks, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford and formerly of Cloughkeating, Patrickswell, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully at home, in the presence of his loving family. Darling and adored husband of Mairéad and dearly loved father of Saorla. Forever missed by his heart-broken parents, Tony & Nancy, his parents-in-law John & Margaret Foley, his siblings Thomas, Noel (twin-brother) and Carmel (Murphy), his brothers-in-law John Foley, Richie Foley, Michael Foley & Seán Murphy; sisters-in-law Mary O’Mahoney, Olive Sexton, Sinéad Walsh, Gráinne Ní Fhoghlú, Aisling Gillick & Mary McCarthy and also Jim Walsh, Darren Ó Droma, Jeff Gillick, Terry McCarthy, Liz Foley & Aoibhean Geary; nieces, nephew, extended family, neighbours, colleagues and friends.

Reposing at Drohan’s Funeral Home Dungarvan (Eircode X35 XF67) on Wednesday 4th March from 5p.m - 7p.m. Removal on Thursday (March 5th) to St. Augustines Church, Abbeyside , arriving for 11.00 am Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
