The death has occurred of
Declan (Spinner) Byrne
Byrne (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Dundalk, Co. Louth) June 30th., 2025 (peacefully) after a long illness, in the loving care of the staff at St. James’ Hospital, Declan (Spinner), beloved husband of Helena and much-loved father of Lisa and David; sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Archie, Riley, Lana and Millie, daughter-in-law Alex, Lisa’s partner David, brother Tom, sisters Margaret and Gina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (July 3rd) between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning (July 4th) to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
