Declan William Jones

On Thursday 12th June, our dearest Declan William Jones died in Calitri, Italy, where he lived with his partner of 46 years, Sigrid Castle. Declan is survived by Sigrid (Sigi), his daughter Emma, his brothers John and Karl, and his sisters Denise and Sandra, his sister-in-law, Mary, and his brother-in-law, Richard. He will also be dearly missed by his two grandchildren, Erin and Lorcan, his nieces and nephews in Ireland: Breffni, Cara, Darren, Freya, Jack, Max, Niall, Rhys, and Sarah, and in the UK by Emma's partner, Sakthi. In England, where he lived for many years, he will be mourned by Sigi's mother Karin, and his brothers-in-law, Bernard and Clive, and sisters-in-law, Stevie and Sonja, and his nieces and nephews Brett and Jade, Charles and Christopher, Tara and Richard, Selina and James. In Calitri, he will be sorely missed as a member of the wonderful community.
