Deirdre Caplice (née Lee), Stratford-on-Slaney, Grange Con and late of Baltinglass. Deirdre passed away, peacefully, at her home on Wednesday, 25th January, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Billy and Anne Lee, Templegrange, Baltinglass. Very sadly missed by her loving husband Pat, sons Kristopher and Mark, grandchildren Cara and Liam, daughter in law Vivian, sisters Joan, Mary, Aîné, Elizabeth and Julie, brothers Pat and Liam, extended family and many friends.

The Caplice family would like to extend their thanks to the medical teams that cared for Deirdre over the past few years including the  respiratory and palliative care teams at Naas General Hospital, doctors and staff at Weavers Square Family Practice and her team of carers.

The stars will be shining all the brighter with Deirdre amongst them. 

Reposing at her sister and brother in law's house  the Stapletons, in Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow (W91 YD45) on Friday evening from 3pm to 6pm and on Saturday at 3pm to 6pm. House private from Sunday on. Removal on Sunday evening at 6:30pm for arrival at St Joseph’s Church, Baltinglass, at 7pm for prayers and candle lighting. Requiem mass at 11am on Monday at St Joseph’s Church, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome’s at 2:30 pm in Dublin.

Deirdre's funeral Mass may be viewed on the church webcam and the crematorium service on the chapel webcam.

The family would like to invite all her friends to celebrate Deirdre’s life at Horan’s Bar, Baltinglass, from 7pm on Monday. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Friends of Naas Hospital, please.
