Deirdre peacefully gave her soul back to her God in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Sunday, 28th December 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mairead, brother Joe, and sisters Eileen Nugent and Margaret Wright.
Deirdre will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Pat,
daughter Michelle, son Gerald, daughter-in-law Sharon McAleenan, son-in-law Jerome Kiyemba, and by Pat's sons, Jim, John and Niall, her adored grandchildren Aoife, Niamh, Rhakim and Ailbhe, sisters Marie Chapple, Roisin Foy and Dympna Kiernan, brothers-in-law Michael and Ciaran, sister-in-law Sheila, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, and wonderful friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home, Síbhruíon Donaghmore, Kilkerley [A91XD28] on Tuesday from 2pm
to 8pm.
Removal on Wednesday morning [New Years Eve] at 10.40am driving to The Church of Immaculate
Conception, Kilkerley [A91XV99] arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by
cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan [H12RF78].

No flowers please, donations if desired to Focus Ireland.
