Formerly of Knockbrack, Athenry.

Deirdre passed away suddenly in the wonderful care of the staff of University Hospital Galway. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Ciara and Aoibheann and their dad Noel, her sister Marie, aunts Gertie, Patricia, Della, and Susan(Boston), cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends and HSE colleagues. Predeceased by her parents Eddie and Queenie and her sister Bernadette.

Deirdre will repose at Gardner’s Funeral Home, Athenry (H65 EV80) on Friday December 12th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (Walk through only please). Arriving at the Church of the Assumption (H65 PV27) on Saturday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Templemoyle Cemetery, Newcastle, Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/camera/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on Parish radio 106.5fm.
