Deirdre Morrissy
(née Hanrahan)
MORRISSY (Shanakiel, Cork) on February 11th 2024, unexpectedly, after a long illness bravely borne, Deirdre (nee Hanrahan), beloved wife of Don, adoring mother of John, Julian, Donald & David, dear sister to John and the late Helen & James (Jimmy).
Deeply missed but lovingly remembered by her husband, her boys, her daughters in law Olwen, Catherine, Susan & Emma, cherished grandchildren Dylan, Theo, Daniel, Lily, Fiadh & James, nephews & nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Tuesday, 13th February, from 6pm to 7pm with prayer at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 14th February, at 11.30am in the Sacred Heart Church, Western Road, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Curraghkippane.
May she rest in peace.
