Deirdre O'Mahony

On June 25, 2025, our wonderful, determined and stylish sister, Deirdre passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of her family and in the tender care of Marymount Hospice, Cork, to who we owe an immense debt of gratitude.

Dear daughter of the late Jim and Sheila O’Mahony and sister of the late Eithne. Profoundly mourned and missed by her sister Grainne, brother Kieran, Uncle Dan, brother-in-law, Michael McLoughlin, sister-in-law, Michelle O’Mahony, her nephew, Connor, family friend, Betty Wren and her many dear friends and neighbours in Bantry, in Ireland and throughout the world.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry on Friday June 27, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with vigil prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday June 28, at 12noon at St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
