O’MAHONY (Dillons Cross,Cork): On October 2nd, 2024, peacefully, at the Bon Secours Hospital, DEIRDRE (née O’Brien), dearly beloved wife of the late Gerry, much loved mother of Gerard, Brian and Cathal, dear sister of Máire and Seán, loving great-grandmother of the late Tadgh.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Mary, Noelle and Fiona, grandchildren Rory, Brianna and Aoife; Colin and Alex, Alison, Aaron and Rachel, great-grandson Donnacha, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Thursday (October 3rd) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Friday (October 4th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
