Deirdre Smith
(née McCartan)
Smith (née McCartan) (late of Belfast and Killiney, Co. Dublin and The Deirdre Smith School Of Ballet) June 22nd 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Deirdre, beloved wife of 63 years to Philip and wonderful mother to Aisling, Niall, Tara and Darren. Sadly missed by her husband, children, adored grandchildren Matthew, Caoimhe, Riley, Tatum, Ethan and Juliet, daughters-in-law Jenny, Stephanie and Rachel, nieces, nephews and a close circle of lifelong friends. Remembering also her late sister Vivianne.
Reposing Tuesday (June 25th) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm-6pm. Removal Wednesday (June 26th) to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey arriving for 10am Funeral Mass which can be viewed online at http://www.churchservices.tv/dalkey followed by Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.
