DEIRDRE SWEENEY
(née BUCHANAN)
SWEENEY (nee Buchanan) Deirdre, Churchtown, Dublin 14, 11th April 2026 (peacefully) after a long illness at home. Beloved wife of Victor and much loved mother of Leo and Ian. She will be greatly missed by her family, her brother Andrew, daughter-in-law Samy, sister-in-law Mary nephew Paul, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham on Wednesday afternoon (15th April) from 4.00 pm until 5.30 pm. Removal on Thursday morning (16th April) to Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving at 9.50 am for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross.
