Denis Barrett
Denis Barrett ,Ballydwyer, Ballymacelligott, Tralee, Co. Kerry and late of Firie, Castleisland Co. Kerry . Peacefully on January 19th 2026 at University Hospital Kerry. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving family Aileen, Ger and Majella, his sisters Mai O'Connor (Scartaglen) and Ita Looney (Killarney) , brother Dan (Kilcummin) , sister-in-law Nora, brothers-in-law Mike Looney and Mike Brosnan, nephews, nieces, all extended family ,relatives, neighbours and many friends ,most especially his faithful dog Suzie. Predeceased by his parents Mick and Rita, brothers , Maurice, Mikey and Noel and his sister Bridie.

Reposing at Tangney's Funeral Home Church Street Castleisland on Thursday evening (Jan 22nd) from 5pm to 7pm . Requiem Mass for Denis will be celebrated on Friday morning (Jan 23rd) at 11.30am in St. Brendan's Church Clogher Ballymacelligott . Burial afterwards in Clogher Cemetery Ballymacelligott .
