Denis Canniffe

Canniffe (Knockaveale, Gaggin, Bandon) on October 29th 2021, peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family at Tallaght Hospital, Dublin. Denis, beloved husband of Kate (nee Gibbons) and dearly beloved son of Michael and Kay and brother of Tadhg and Maria.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, parents, brother, sister, sisters-in-law Nola, Johanna and Olivia, brothers-in-law Pierce and Stephen, nephews and nieces James, Joe, Christopher, Jimmy, baby Tess and baby Nancy, parents-in-law Jim and Rosaleen, uncles, aunts, grand-uncle, grand-aunt, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and his large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at his home on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm for family and close friends only.

Denis' Funeral Cortege will leave his home on Monday at 1pm approx. via Hare Hill and Gaggin Church en route to St. Patrick's Church, Bandon for a Requiem Mass at 2pm which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/live/, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
