Denis Carey

Peacefully at home after a long illness bravely borne in the presence of his much loved wife and soulmate Antoinette (nee Ryan) and his adored and cherished children Charlie, Bobby and Olivia and his faithful companion Ozzy. Beloved son of the late Noreen Carey. Sadly missed also by his father Cyril, sisters Mary (O'Riordan) and Noreen (Walsh), brothers Paddy, Michael, Noel and Cyril, his mother in law Nora Ryan, sisters in law Marian, Niamh, Carol, Sharon and Catherine, brothers in law Bernard, John, Mike, Paddy and Graham, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, relatives, his friends in the Motor Cycle Community.

In accordance with current HSE Guidelines, A private family funeral and cremation service will take place.

Denis's wife Antoinette would like to thank everyone for your co-operation and understanding at this very sad and difficult time and to also acknowledge her sister Sharon for helping Antoinette to care for Denis in his final months at home, Ger Browne from Carrigtwohill Pharmacy and his staff, Dr. Pat Kennedy and all the Doctors and Nurses for their care and attention to Denis.

Denis's funeral will travel this morning at 11.35am from his home in Tullagreen on the old N25 road to The Sacred Heart Church Glounthaune for a Private Requiem Mass at 12noon.This mass can be viewed on the Glounthaune Parish - Webcam at the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune. Co. Cork,
