Denis Carey

Formerly of Clooncureen and Killaclogher, Monivea. Peacefully, at University Hospital, Galway. Beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Paul. Sadly missed by his wife and son, daughter-in-law Olga, his adored grandchildren Oisin, Clodagh and Eoin, brother Joe (Ennis) and sister Peggy (Ryehill), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, Hilda, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19, all funeral arrangements will take place privately, for a limited number of 25 people. Denis's funeral cortège will leave his residence at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday 19th December and travel, via Glenard Road and Rockbarton Road, arriving at Christ the King Church, Salthill, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Multiple Sclerosis, Galway Branch. House private.
