DENIS CARROLL, Gorteenasowna, Dunmanway, who passed away peacefully at home after an illness bravely borne, in the presence of his loving family on 13th January 2026.
Devoted husband of Sinéad (née Duggan), adoring father of Siobhán and Donnacha. Son of the late Mickie and Marion.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, children, sisters Martina (Coakley), Yvonne (O’Mahony), Fidelma (Coughlan) Michelle (Price), Eleanor, Brenda (Collins), brothers Finbarr, Michael, and Damien, his mother-in-law Hannah, whose kindness, support and love meant so much to Denis and his best friend Paul. Fondly remembered by his in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

 

A huge word of thanks to Aisling and Jenny Duggan for the exceptional care shown to Denis in his final few days. Also to Dr Brendan and Dr Jack O’Connell for their dedication and kindness. A special thank you also to the staff of Bons Secours Hospital and the Palliative Care Team for the dignity, comfort, and care shown to Denis and his family.

Visitation this Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with Prayers at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on this Thursday morning at 11:00am in St. Patrick's Church. Burial afterwards to St. Finbarr's Cemetery.
