Denis passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family in Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Saturday, December 20th, 2025.

 

Beloved husband of Nuala (née Geaney), much loved father of Eileen (Bobby Cotter), Dan, Shane, Nuala and Ross and cherished grandfather of Robert, Denis, Niamh, Órla, Croía, Clodagh, Sean, Fiadh, Noel and Darragh.

 

Dear brother of John, William, Anthony, George, Chriss, Rose, Brenda, Agnes, Helen, Ann-Marie and the late Mary.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, son-in-law Peter, daughters-in-law Tara and Lisa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

 

May Denis Rest in Peace

 

 

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant (P51 N2NP) on Monday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers and Reception into St. Mary's Church, Lisgriffin.

 

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon, after which Denis will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

 

 

 

 

The family would very much like to thank all of the staff in CUH for the kindness and care they showed to Denis.
