The death has occurred of
Denis Daly
On September 2, 2021, peacefully after a short illness borne with great courage, in the presence of his family under the great care of Dr Michael Henry, his team and the wonderful staff of 5B in C.U.H. DENIS, dearly beloved husband of Goretti, loving dad of Rachel (O’Donovan), Brendan and Paul, adored grandad of Leah, Aideen, Caoimhe and Tadhg. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Tim, Brendan’s partner Tara, his godchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, their partners and families, kind neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Denis’s funeral will take place in accordance with Government and HSE guidelines. Funeral cortège will leave Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel St., Bantry on Saturday Sept. 4, at 12.30pm approx. (via Durrus and Ahakista) for a private requiem Mass at 2pm at Star of the Sea Church, Kilcrohane followed by burial in Kilcrohane Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Respiratory Unit of C. U. H.
