Denis (D.C.) Mahony

Denis passed away peacefully, at the age of 101 years, in Ashborough Lodge, Milltown, in the presence of his loving family and the wonderful staff on 24th March 2026.

 

Predeceased by his parents Julia and John, his brother Jacko, sister Abina and brother-in-law Jack.

 

Denis. will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, relatives, friends and excellent neighbours.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Ashborough. Their support and kindness shown to Denis was very much appreciated.

 

Reposing at St. Bridget’s Funeral Home Gneeveguilla (P51T657) on Thursday, 26th March 2026 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla.

 

Requiem Mass for will take place on Friday, 27th March at 10.00am, in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
