The death has occurred of
Denis (Denny) Murphy
Denis (Denny) Murphy (Publican), Castle Grove, Mallow and formerly of Bridge Street, Mallow,
passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 15th 2026 at Mallow General Hospital.
Beloved husband of Josephine (née Hennessy), dear father of Marion and Denis, son of the late Denis and Siobhán and brother of the late Helen (Hickey).
Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughter-in-law Niamh, Marion's partner Cathal, his much adored grandchildren Saoirse and Ciarán, brothers-in-law Bryan and Jimmy, sisters-in-law Dolores and Kathleen, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Tuesday (St. Patrick's Day) from 6pm with Prayers at 8pm followed by Removal to St. Mary's Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday (March 18th) at 12 noon which may be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's cemetery, Mallow.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the Staff of the Mercy Hospital, Cork, the Cork University Hospital, the HSE Blarney Rehabilitation Centre and Mallow General Hospital for the wonderful care shown to Denis.
