The death has occurred of
Denis (Dinny) Shanahan
And formerly Gortacoola, Drombane, Thurles. Peacefully under the wonderful care of the staff of Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford and Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by his loving family; sister Philomena (O'Dwyer), brother Michael, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, special friend and neighbour Margaret, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Thursday, 8th June, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at Holycross Abbey on Friday, 9th June, at 10.45am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Mass can be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/holycrossabbey. Sympathies can be expressed in the condolence section below
