Past Provincial Grand Knight of St. Columbanus. Late of Old Knockmay, Co. Laois. Peacefully at home in his 79th year after a long illness borne with dignity and acceptance, surrounded by his loving family. Denis will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila and daughters Marguerite (Cahill), Denise (Keoghan) and Aoife (Shihab), sons in law Jonathan, Michael and Oliver, his adored grandchildren Micheál, Stephen, Emily, Donncha, Alister, Oisín and Bradán, brother Dan (Athy), (deceased brothers John and Michael), sisters Patty (Clondalkin) and Claire (Arklow), brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Denis Rest In Peace
Reposing at his home on Friday from 3pm until Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 11am to the Church of The Assumption, Tullamore arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in St. Colmcille's Cemetery, Durrow. No flowers, donations in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society or The Knights Of St Columbanus.
