Denis Downey
The death has taken place of Denis Downey, Glasgow, Scotland and formerly of Donoughmore, Co. Cork who passed away peacefully on July 30th 2024 in Glasgow, son of the late Tom and Margaret Downey and brother of the late Liam and Paddy. Sadly missed by his children, their mother Maureen, brothers Tom and Finbarr, sisters Siobhan (Breen), Máiread (Foley), Maureen (Crowley) and Helen (O'Callaghan), his extended family and friends.

A Private Cremation Service has taken place in Glasgow.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Denis on Saturday (September 7th) at 3pm in St. Lachteen's Church, Stuake.
