Denis Dwyer

DWYER (Skibbereen and formerly of Terenure, Dublin): on February 17th 2025 peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family under the wonderful care of the medical team of St Catherine’s Ward, Marymount Hospice, Cork.

DENIS (retired Garda/Ministerial Driver), dearly loved father of Ciara and Shauna, adoring partner of Ann (McCarthy) and her daughter Victoria.

Pre-deceased by his loving parents Jerome and Noreen (Norrie), and sister Rosie.

Sadly missed by his family, siblings John, Michael, Mary (McKenna), Geraldine (Flynn), Ann, Jerome, Paschal, Brendan and Rita (O'Connell), cherished Grandchild Conall, son-in-law Eoghan, nieces and nephews.

Reposing at his home, Tig Na Gile, Baltimore Rd, Skibbereen on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5pm to 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen, this will be livestreamed here, followed by Burial at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice:
