The death has occurred of Denis Gervase Flynn, Ardnasilla, Oughterard, Co Galway

In his 81st year, Gervase Flynn of Oughterard, Co Galway, formerly of Manuels, Newfoundland, Canada, passed away on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024, surrounded by family and in the wonderful care of University Hospital Galway Intensive Care Unit. Beloved husband of Josephine (Deacy, Galway), loving father of Yvonne (Joseph Sheehan, Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada) and Norma (David Noseworthy, St. Philips, Newfoundland, Canada), adored granddad to Olivia, Abigail, Emily, and Grace.

He will be sadly missed by sister Anne Flynn (Holyrood, Newfoundland), brother Harold Flynn (Avondale, Newfoundland), nieces Glenna and Lindsay, and brothers-in-law Norman and John Deacy of Galway. Predeceased by his mother Bernadine, his father Denis Cyril, and brother Cyril.

In accordance with the wishes of Gervase a private cremation has taken place at Shannon Crematorium.
