Denis Linehan

Linehan. (Capwell Ave, Turners Cross & Wilton Cork).

On 31st March 2023. Denis passed away suddenly at his home in Sri Lanka. Denis was born in Blackpool, Cork in 1951 to the late John and Eileen Linehan, spent much of his childhood in Capwell  Avenue as a former UCC lecture, he  also was an accomplished athlete, solicitor, author of novels, law books and advocate for justice denied.

Denis spent a number of years living in Wilton before retiring to Sri Lank. Denis is deeply mourned by his siblings, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, 22nd April, at 10am in Christ King Church, Turners Cross, followed by funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr's Cemetery, Glasheen Road, the Mass can be viewed by live stream on the following link
