On 1st August 2020 unexpectedly at his home Denis (ex-Postmaster of Cork G.P.0.), loving husband of Sheila (née-Buckley), devoted father of Mary (Lucey) and Fidelma McCarthy. Much loved “Granda” of Mark, Colm, Aoife, Ian, Julia and James. Brother of Noel and the late Eileen (O’Brien). He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Mícheál and Greg, brother- in- law, sisters- in- law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with current Government Guidelines on public gatherings, Denis’s funeral will take place privately. Denis’s Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church will be streamed live on Thursday 6th August at 12.00 noon on
