Denis McCarthy,

passed away peacefully at home on August 25th 2025.

Denis, dearly beloved husband of Lena (nee Keane),

loving father of Geraldine, Frank, Pearl and the late Brian

and treasured grandad to Lucy and Sally.

Denis will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, son,daughters, granddaughters,

sisters Ethel and Bridie (Australia), son-in-law Thomas Roche,

Frank's partner Anna Magee, Pearl's partner John Barron,

brother-in-law Eddie Cahill, sisters-in-law; Alice, Marie, Mary Walsh and Joan Casey,

nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Denis will repose in Hannon's Funeral Home Kildorrery (Eircode P67H971) on Wednesday evening, August 27th from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Reception into St Bartholomew's Church, Kildorrery for Requiem Mass at 3pm on Thursday, August 28th.

Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on mcn.live/camera/st-bartholomew's-church
