Denis McLaughlin

The death has taken place at his home of Denis McLaughlin, Cloughbane, Downings, Letterkenny, Co.Donegal F92 CY80.

Predeceased by his father Edward and mother Annie, sister Bridget McGroddy, and brother Edward.

Deeply missed by his wife Mary, sons and daughters - Denis (Christine, Portuma, Galway), Maureen (Mike O'Connor, Kilmacrennan), Anne (Navan), Martina (Michael Power, Leopardstown, Dublin), Fr. Eamonn McLaughlin (Rome), Lorraine (Patrick Byrne, Glynn, Wexford),Desmond (partner Nicola, Cloughbane), Shane (partner Kellie, London), brother Jimmy (Carmel, Killimor, Galway), sister Mary (Jim) - grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his late residence in Cloughbane, Downings. House private from 11pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Carrigart at 12 noon on Wednesday 21st December, which can be viewed online on Mevagh Parish Facebook page, followed by internment in the family plot in Carrigart Cemetery.

A special word of thanks to Donegal Pallative Care team, Public Health Nursing Team, Community Intervention Team, Staff of Carrigart Health Centre and Aidan and all the staff of Carrigart Pharmacy. A heartfelt thank you to our extended family and friends who supported the family during these difficult days and preceding his death.
