The death has occurred of
Denis Murphy
MURPHY (Coolowen, Blarney, Cork): On June 3rd, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at home, DENIS, (formerly of Irish Rail), devoted husband of Breda (nèe O’Donovan), cherished father of Aisling, Ciara and Aidan, son of the late Eileen and the recently deceased Vin, brother of Michael, Geraldine, Regina, Vincent, Mary and Martin.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sons-in-law Kevin and John, daughter-in-law Catríona, his adored grandchildren Freya, Aifric, Donnacha and Odhran, sisters-in-law Breda, Angela, Barbara, Kathleen and Eileen, brothers-in-law Paul, Martin and Vincent, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends especially those in Irish Rail.
Rosary at home (Eircode T23 W932) on Wednesday (June 4th) at 7.00pm.
Reposing at home on Thursday (June 5th) from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 1.00pm on Friday (June 6th) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Blarney which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
