MURPHY (Rathpeacon, Cork): On September 6th, 2025, peacefully, at the Mercy University Hospital, DENIS, (St. Finbarr’s Hurling and Football Club and Cork GAA), dearly loved husband of the late Joan and much loved father of Donal, Aidan, Ray, Rose, Pat, Brian and Fiona (Twomey).

 

Sadly missed by his loving family, brother Donal, daughters-in-law Ellmary, Betty, Frances, Louise and Yvonne, son-in-law Mark, his 19 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Monday (September 8th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (September 9th) in the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool which can be viewed

here

 

Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
